- Age 0 Born in Wrexham
- Age 9 Liked Football, Cars, Karting and school was hard as unknowingly dyslexic
- Age 12 Father sent to Prison
- Age 13 Sent away to another school due to above, parents split starts
- Age 16 Start selling cars as I have no money and study PT for A levels
- Age 19 Go to Oxford to study Law and failed
- Age 20 Work in a betting shop on the till, live for the weekend
- Age 22 Back to Uni in Newcastle to do business and work driving delivery vans
- Age 23 Get on Graduate management trainee prog @ Marks and Spencer
- Age 26 Get job selling Caterpillar construction equipment(Still trading cars PT)
- Age 30 Get a job building up a software start up
- Age 31 Start igroup, £1500 on an egg credit card and a lap top
- Age 33 Do not take a wage for over 18 months(Get married)
- Age 34 Sell software IPR into oil/gas sector and Logistics Fast 600k
- Age 35 Invest and still live frugal and focus full time on SharePoint
- Age 39 Millionaire and now doing 1 million+ profit p.a.
- Age 40 Invest in properties, offices, land, Vanguard and dream house
- Age 42 Invest in Crypto, Gold, classic cars, and property development
- Age 44 Decide to exit via extraction and contract sell offs not sale, pension nearly maxed
- Age 45 Mum dies, son has terrible rally accident, friend dies suddenly, colleague has heart attack, take time out, had the choice of retiring
- Age 47 Go full time on IG Cloud Ops, build 2nd home in Abersoch
- Age 49 Net worth Multiplied significantly from 10 years prior, But it does not stop what happened at 45...
- Age 50 Enjoying work with a small tight team building a scalable business IG Cloud Ops and start working on building an exceptional legacy Para house
Thoughts - I am not exceptional. I have a few main attributes. I do not give up and stay positive and can focus strongly on problems or goals until done.
Consider - Consistency and not taking instant gratification or thinking you can short cut making money long term without hard work. Then investing even when the money starts to arrive. I have made as much or more from reinvesting business profits in property, development land etc. I have never taken investment on (VC etc) and focus on a profit each month since day one and growth. I am not a burn rate guy.
Thoughts - Even a Turkey can fly in a strong wind. Money gives freedom and you make your own happiness!
